What’s New on Parler: Creator Earnings, Redesigned Lounges, Bursts & More

A development update, July 2026

This was one of the biggest shipping stretches we have had. Creators can now see what they have earned and get paid from inside Creator Studio. The redesigned Lounges came out from behind the curtain and are now the experience for everyone on web. Notifications finally let you filter down to what you care about. Bursts can be created from your laptop.

Here is what is new, what is better, and what is fixed across Parler and Parler Play.

Creator Studio now shows you what you have earned

Creator Studio has a real earnings picture. The new Earnings tab breaks down what you have made and lets you look at it over the last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or your full history, so you can see the shape of your growth instead of a single number.

The new Payouts tab sits next to it, with payout setup built in, so getting paid is part of Creator Studio rather than something that happens somewhere else. Creators now have one place to follow content performance, earnings, and payouts as their presence on Parler grows.

This is the start of the creator economy work we have been building toward, and there is significantly more landing in Studio soon.

The new Lounges are here for everyone

The redesigned Lounges are no longer a preview. They are now the Lounges experience on web for every user.

You get a real home for your communities: a Home, Joined, and Explore layout, category chips to browse by interest, and a Featured section that surfaces communities worth finding. Inside a Lounge, there is now a proper posts feed with its own composer and pinned posts, so a community reads like a place instead of a list.

Running one got easier too. Lounges now have owner, admin, and moderator roles, and owners can promote a member to moderator. Moderators have a Reports queue on the web that shows who reported what and why, can mark violations on messages, and can remove a member without banning them when a lighter touch is the right call.

New members see and accept your Rules and Guidelines as part of joining, and the full interests list is available when you set your category.

Finding communities also improved. Search has a dedicated Lounges tab, and the Lounges you have joined or requested now show up correctly in results.

Notifications you can actually sort

Notifications now have category filters. Instead of one undifferentiated stream, you can jump to follows, replies, and the rest, with counts for each category.

If notifications were the reason you stopped checking, they are worth another look.

Bursts, now made from your laptop

You no longer need your phone to make a Burst. Creating and uploading Bursts now works directly on the web, and a Burst can be shared straight to your Story, where it autoplays instead of sitting there as a still frame.

Embedded Bursts also render in their real portrait shape now, so a Burst posted somewhere else looks the way you made it.

Stories keep getting better

You can mention people while you are building a story, see poll results without leaving it, and jump straight to your newest story right after posting.

The Stories page shows unread badges and how long ago something went up, reactions can be taken back by tapping again, and stories now hold for 8 seconds so people can actually read what you wrote.

Messaging and search got sharper

Sharing to several people at once now takes a single send instead of one message at a time, and link and story previews in a conversation are much cleaner. You can report a message from inside a conversation, and block or report someone straight from the Requests tab.

Search improved in the way that matters most: searching a person's real name now finds their handle. Results also default to the All tab rather than a narrower one, and a search that fails offers you a retry instead of a silent empty screen.

A refreshed Parler Play

Parler Play has a new logo, favicon, and app icons, and that refresh carries through to how Play links look when someone shares them. The login screen was updated to match, and pre-roll ads now show a progress bar so you know exactly how long is left.

A better first week on Parler

New members now get a welcome series across their first week, including a personalized set of creators and topics to follow based on what is genuinely active on Parler rather than a generic starter list.

Together, these changes make it easier to find your communities, follow the conversations you care about, create across formats, and understand what your work as a creator is producing.

Improvements & Fixes

Creating the best possible user experience is as important to us as shipping new features, and a large share of this cycle went into fixing the things that quietly get in your way.

Here are some of the improvements and fixes that landed this month:

• Notifications no longer show "Someone" in place of a person's name, and the page no longer flips to "Nothing here yet" after a few refreshes.
• Trending hashtags in Explore now load reliably.
• Images attached to comments no longer disappear after 24 hours.
• Boosting a post that has no caption now works instead of failing.
• You can paste or drag and drop images straight into the composer, the input grows as you type, and a post locks once you hit send so nothing goes out twice.
• Multiple GIFs are allowed on a single post.
• Tapping Show more or backing out of a post returns you to the exact post you were reading.
• Quoted posts with a single image or video keep their full aspect ratio instead of being cropped.
• Positive and negative reactions are now visually separated in the reaction picker.
• Clicking an image in full-screen view closes the viewer instead of navigating you somewhere else.
• Cancelling an avatar or banner crop restores the image you already had, and cover photos save instead of reverting.
• Story progress no longer starts running before the media has loaded.
• Switching back to Post mode after selecting Story mode in the composer now works.
• The sensitive content warning stays attached to posts and videos shared into a Story.
• Deleting a conversation clears its history everywhere, so opening the DM again from a profile does not resurface old messages.
• Raw links no longer sit next to their own preview card in DMs, and shared story previews show text rather than a URL.
• Long messages in Lounge chat wrap instead of overflowing the bubble.
• Endless scroll on the Bursts page works in Safari.
• Post and Burst embeds no longer get cut off, and video embeds have a redesigned player.
• Sharing a link no longer fails when the page title contains special characters.
• GIF-only comments made on Parler now display properly in Play comment threads.
• Comment lists refresh immediately after you report a post.
• Reposting inside a Lounge works and keeps the original post's audience.
• Creator Studio charts fill their slots correctly, and the views percentage no longer exceeds 100 percent.
• Profile pages load noticeably faster with fewer redundant requests.
• Referral links now land you on the content that was actually shared with you.

Trust & Safety

Our moderation queue now groups every report on the same piece of content into a single item, with the reporters and reasons attached, so our team acts on the full picture instead of the same content ten times over.

Moderators can now mark violations on Lounge messages, and Lounge Reports on the web show who reported what and why. Members can report a direct message from inside a conversation or from the Requests tab.

We also tightened our Discover curation rules and continued expanding automated moderation coverage across Lounges, Stories, and Bursts.
